Milligan’s making a splash to launch Neighbourhood Centre Week 2025!
Join us for a special edition of Mondays @ Milligan – a day full of creativity, connection and all things green. Create some garden goodness, relax over free coffee, tea and treats, bring a friend or meet someone new – then stick around for a light lunch together.
What’s on:
- Compost workshop with Wink Lindsay
- DIY low-tox cleaning supplies
- Recycled art workshop with Merle Topsi Davis
- Free lunch, coffee and snacks
Plus we’re shouting you a coffee to celebrate Neighbourhood Centre Week!
The Dragonfly Coffee Van will be on-site during our launch day, serving up free brews for everyone joining in the fun. You’ll also meet the lovely team from South West Women’s Health, offering friendly chats, women’s health info and support – no pressure, just good vibes and great coffee!
No registration is needed. Everything is free and everyone is welcome.

Neighbourhood Centre Week celebrates the role community centres play in creating welcoming, supportive spaces across Australia.
This year’s theme, Ripples of Change, reminds us that every action – no matter how small – can spark kindness, new ideas and stronger communities. We’re celebrating the little things that make the biggest difference. At Milligan, we see this magic every day. Smiles, stories shared over a cuppa, moments of connection – small acts with big impacts.
